The use of all-terrain vehicles (swamp vehicles, pneumatics) in rural areas is not a luxury, but an urgent need. Especially in places where groundwater is located fairly close to the surface. A swamp buggy based on a conventional motorcycle can be made independently if you have the skill of working with a welding machine, locksmith and car business.

- - a frame from a motorcycle IZH Planet 4;
- - the engine from the Tula motorcycle;
- - gas tank, seat, steering wheel from the Voskhod 2M motorcycle;
- - rear axle from UAZ-469;
- - wheels from the combine and the MTZ-80 tractor.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a frame from a motorcycle, for example, IZH Planet 4. Weld a homemade swamp buggy frame to it. Install a new engine, for example, from a Tula motorcycle. This is the only non-used item that will be used. So this model is a good example of the second life of old things. This engine was chosen for its technical characteristics - economy, has forced air cooling. Replace the standard ignition with the tractor starter magneto. This is due to the fact that this unit is designed for use on heavy soils, in the forest, so it is better not to rely on a battery.
Step 2
Put the gas tank, seat and steering wheel from Voskhod 2M. Make the front fork collapsible, without shock absorbers. Install the chain drive, match the chain over the gear. Take the rear axle and axle shafts from the UAZ-469. No brakes needed. Stopping occurs when the engine is turned off. Take the wheels to the swamp buggy from the harvester. Peel off the top rubber from the tires to facilitate construction. The top rubber has been removed from the tires. Rear tires should have good tread for easy off-roading. The main purpose of this unit is to simplify as much as possible work in a rural economy, as well as to facilitate movement on heavy soils through the use of pneumatic wheels.
Step 3
Make a homemade trolley from a metal corner to help with the farm for the swamp buggy. Take the front wheels from the MTZ-80 tractor. Make the hitch device simple and reliable, for example, a conventional through-pin with a lock at the bottom. On it it will be possible to easily transport loads weighing almost 0.5 tons or 2 m3 of firewood off-road. In addition, the all-terrain vehicle can be used when harvesting in fields on loose, wet soils, since due to the large area of contact with the ground, it will not get stuck in it.
