Many cars are equipped with alarms to prevent theft or mechanical damage. Although these systems are created by different companies, they have some general operating principles that can be used to efficiently configure.
It is necessary
- -a car equipped with an alarm;
- - instructions for working with the alarm.
Instructions
Step 1
Take the anti-theft system key fob. Almost all user parameters used on a daily basis during system operation can be defined and configured using this remote control, including such important functions as remote start, sensor sensitivity, pulse duration, etc. To configure not only basic but also additional alarm functions, you need to program the system. The programming process is protected and therefore only the first 25 seconds can be implemented. after turning on the engine. Programming is carried out from the remote control using the buttons.
Step 2
Press and hold button 1 on the key fob. You will hear a beep. The system readiness for operation is also indicated by a fast blinking LED. Go to function selection.
Step 3
The function is assigned in the system by means of a certain number of key fob button presses, therefore, check the number of the programmed function in the instructions for the alarm. This number consists of two digits. Pressing button №1 selects the first digit, to enter the second digit, respectively, use button № 2. If within 2 sec. no buttons are pressed, the system interprets this as the end of the input and proceeds to execute the specified code. The LED will pre-confirm the entered digital code with flashes of different duration. For example, the entered number 16 will correspond to one long flash and six short ones.
Step 4
Please note that the alarm also has protected functions that cannot be accidentally changed. These feature numbers are usually highlighted in red or indicated by exclamation marks. To change or reprogram a protected function, the data must be entered twice.
