For the first time, the "capitalists" began to heat the interior of a car back in 1917. Our skilled chauffeurs simply drilled holes in the partition between the engine and the cab. Today, there is a "stove" in almost every car. It works, as a rule, from the engine. Antifreeze is poured into the cooling system. By cooling the engine, it heats up and enters the heater radiator. The fan blows warm air into the passenger compartment.

Instructions

Step 1

Usually, if there are problems with turning on the heating in the car, then the most frequent breakdowns are: a clogged or aged stove switching valve, a clogged radiator, an air bubble in the stove. You can turn on the heating in the car by finding a breakdown and correcting the situation.

Check the faucet of the stove switch. It stands on the hot inlet hose of the radiator. Try opening it manually. If the tap is stationary, replace it with a new one.

Step 2

Removing excess air from the stove is also easy. Warm up the engine a little, then loosen the clamp on the hot hose that fits the radiator and remove it from the tube until a small gap is formed. The air will escape, then put on the hose again, secure it with a hose clamp.

Step 3

But if, after all the procedures, the heat in the interior of your car is gone, then the radiator of your stove is clogged, or a lot of scale has formed in it. It is not necessary to go to a car service to flush the radiator. Disconnect the radiator inlet and outlet hoses. Remove the battery and air line hose, remove the air filter, disconnect the temperature sensor. Next, remove the radiator cap to relieve system pressure.

Remove the dashboard, take out the heater and radiator. Using a regular shower hose, run the water and descaling solution through the radiator several times. Then flush the radiator with clean water and reassemble the engine in reverse order.

Step 4

Experts advise, so that there are no problems with heating the car, use only high-quality antifreeze, always monitor its level in the system when the engine is cold and keep the radiator clean.
