Step 1

What to do if a wheel is punctured and there is no spare with you? It is absolutely useless to pump it with air, since air will still come out through the hole. But try pumping water into the wheel by pouring it into the pump. Water has a higher density than air, it will flow out more slowly, and you can get home.

How to repair a broken spark plug? If the insulator is intact, put the faulty candle in acetone for 20 minutes. The solvent will eat away at the carbon deposits and can be cleaned off with a wire brush. Clean the candle cavity with acid, rinse it with water, and then adjust the gap. However, remember that a reconditioned plug will still need to be replaced after a while.

Sometimes it happens that the brake fluid has leaked out on the way, and it needs to be replaced with something. Moonshine, fortified wine, vodka, soapy water or antifreeze can help you. This is better than nothing at all, and these substances will help you get to the place where you can get normal brake fluid. But remember that the brake system will definitely need to be flushed.
Step 5
If, during minor repairs, the nut refuses to loosen, do not use much physical force, otherwise you can simply rip off the thread. Lubricate the nut with gasoline or kerosene and wait a few minutes until these substances destroy the rust. Then, clean as much dirt as possible from the nut and put a wrench on it. Begin to gently knock on it until the nut moves out of place. After that, you can safely unscrew it.
Step 6
If a cardboard strip breaks during the trip, remove it, wash it with kerosene, gasoline or white spirit and wrap it with electrical tape or simple plastic bags. They will be able to ensure the integrity of the gasket for a short time.
