Cars with an engine volume of 3 to 3.5 liters will cost 69,400 rubles more, and for those over three years old - by 570,000. Finally, if a car with an engine capacity of more than 3.5 liters is purchased, the fee will be 110,000 rubles for new ones. cars and 700 200 for used ones.

The new law was passed with great haste. It's hard enough to believe that the government really cares about scrapping cars at the end of their life. It is more logical to assume that the law was adopted in connection with Russia's accession to the WTO and pursued two goals: on the one hand, to close the border for used cars, making their import unprofitable, and on the other, to provide competitive advantages to Russian car factories that were exempted from paying taxes. Thus, prices will rise only for cars imported from abroad. Accordingly, the buyer who buys a foreign-assembled car will pay the fee, while the one who buys a Russian-assembled car will not. The scrappage fee for a car will also be small, within 5 thousand, if it is imported for personal use.

The fact that the adopted law has a protective function is also evidenced by the amount of rates. If the levy is introduced for recycling purposes, what is the fundamental difference between recycling new and old cars? Why is it necessary to pay for the disposal of one, for example, 26,800 rubles, and for disassembling exactly the same, but older one, already 165,200 rubles? You have to be a very naive person to believe in the officially declared goals of introducing the collection. Even more fantastic is the assumption that the funds raised will be used to build enterprises for the disposal of old cars. Most likely, the money will simply dissolve in the country's budget.
