Instructions

Step 1

If you purchase a scrap car due to the relative cheapness of such a vehicle, be sure to ask its previous owner for a certificate of registration operation, as well as an extract from the state register. Remember that if you do not have a certificate of released units - license plate, engine and body numbers, then it is almost impossible to remove a car from recycling, and you can only drive such a car illegally.

Step 2

To remove a car from recycling, first of all, contact the MREO by writing a corresponding statement on a special form. In such a statement, be sure to indicate your passport data, the reason for disposal, which may be the impossibility of repairing a car after an accident or its complete disrepair due to physical wear and tear. Next, attach the certificates and certificates received from the previous car owner, with the help of which the MREO employees will again make a registration record, put the car in the scrap on record, issuing a new state number. In this case, the engine and body numbers in the issued technical passport will remain the same.

Step 3

In cases where the disposal of the car is carried out by its owner, who previously sold the car under a general power of attorney, the new owner cannot register it on his own by legal means, so be sure to find the old owner, agree with him to restore the registration of the car, take all previously received certificates and go to MREO. If you cannot find the owner of the car who issued the general power of attorney, only the court will help to remove the car from recycling, but often such cases are considered for at least six months.

Step 4

Considering that the recycling of cars has been stimulated by the state in recent years, many motorists are faced with similar problems. If you cannot find the owner for whom the car was issued, follow these steps. First, send a telegram notifying you that you have found an ownerless car in the MREO, and a copy of it to the head of the district police department, where you must state your request to find the owner. Secondly, apply to the court to recognize you as the owner of the found car. If the ATC does not find the car owner within six months, the court will allow you to keep the car and register it for yourself, thereby removing it from disposal.
