The process of changing a wheel is specially facilitated for a quick change, since there are situations when a long stop on a given section of the road is prohibited.

Step 1
First you need to put the car on the handbrake. It is also advisable to squeeze the clutch and engage second or third gear to further hold the vehicle. For greater confidence, especially if the car is on an inclined road, you can put something heavy (stones, bricks) under the wheels to prevent the car from rolling back.
Step 2
Then it is necessary to loosen the wheel bolts. This is done using a special wheel wrench (usually a "19" wheel wrench is used). Most car brands have only four of these bolts, but sports cars may have more. The initial force on the wrench is usually applied with the foot, and then the bolts can be loosened by hand. The main thing is not to unscrew the bolts completely at this stage.
Step 3
Next, you need to jack up the car from the side of the punctured wheel. To do this, you need to substitute the folded jack under the specially reinforced part of the car bottom (jack). At first, while supporting the jack, you need to start unfolding it. When the car lies firmly on the jack foot, you can safely continue to raise the car. It must be lifted until the wheel to be replaced rotates freely (check by turning it by hand).
Step 4
After the machine is raised, it is necessary to unscrew the wheel bolts (after loosening this can be done by hand).
Step 5
Then you need to remove the wheel from the hub.
Step 6
Next, you need to put on the spare wheel. It should fit into two guides.
Step 7
After that, you need to tighten the existing wheel bolts (for a start, you can by hand).
Step 8
Lower the vehicle (fold down the jack).
Step 9
Tighten the wheel bolts tightly with a wheel wrench (you can also tighten it with your foot, but without breaking the thread).
Step 10
If the spare wheel is lowered, it is necessary to pump it up.
