The state program for the recycling of old cars started on March 8, 2010. An old car with a permissible weight of no more than 3.5 tons can be handed over, a certificate can be obtained and a discount of 50,000 rubles can be used when buying a new car manufactured in the Russian Federation.

Instructions
Step 1
Finding a region for renting an old car is quite simple. If you plan to exchange a car that is more than 10 years old and has been in your ownership for more than 1 year, contact your authorized dealer.
Step 2
You can arrive in an old car or bring it in a tow truck at your own expense. Next, you will need to fill out a unified disposal certificate. The form will be given by the car dealer. At the dealership, you will issue a power of attorney for the deregistration procedure and transfer to the recycling center.
Step 3
An agreement will be drawn up with you on the disposal and acceptance of the car for safekeeping until the moment of disposal. You will pay 3000 rubles for services, then choose a new car from the dealer and get a discount of 50 thousand rubles for it.
Step 4
You can buy a new car at a discount for cash or get a preferential loan from partner banks of the program.
Step 5
You can return a car for recycling in Moscow and the Moscow Region, St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar and Primorsky Territories, in Bashkiria, Udmurtia, Tatarstan, Ulyanovsk, Kaluga, Rostov, Sverdlovsk, Kaliningrad, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk regions.

The scrappage program is aimed at updating the vehicle fleet in the Russian Federation and at supporting domestic manufacturers. In economically developed countries, such programs have been operating for a long time. The United States of America, France, Germany - these are the countries that have started renewing their car parks, supported their manufacturers and received excellent results.

The range of vehicles offered under the recycling program is quite extensive: VAZ, GAZ, UAZ, TagAZ, Chevrolet Niva, Skoda Octavia, Ford Focus, Skoda Fabia, Kia Spectra, Renault Logan, etc.
