It is better to rent a car, which will add comfort to the trip, and you can save time, but renting a car is a rather specific service, especially abroad, which has its pitfalls.
If you rent a car, you should not forget that tourists can often be simply deceived. It may seem that there are more civilized people abroad, but in fact there is deception everywhere and it is used as a way of earning money. For example, a scratch is applied to the car or there may be damage inside the cabin, and then the client will be forced to pay the required amount for the damage caused, although, in fact, he has nothing to do with it.
That is why, before renting a car, you need to carefully examine the body and interior. All places of deformation are recorded in documents, which are signed by the client and the employee of the company who leases the car. By the way, the documents also record the indicators of the fuel tank.
As a rule, many companies do not pay for fuel, so if a car was rented with a full tank, it must be returned with the original amount of fuel. That is why it is important to record how much fuel there was before leaving, so that later extra liters of gasoline or diesel will not be attributed.
