It is necessary

  • - thin screwdriver;
  • - pliers;
  • - heads for "8" and "12";
  • - key to "10".

Instructions

Step 1

To begin with, on the battery, disconnect the wire from its negative terminal. After unscrewing the mounting screws, and there are only three of them, remove the A-pillar trim on both sides. Pull up the extension on the dashboard in the same way on both sides, prying it off with a thin screwdriver.

Step 2

Next, remove the cover of the fuse boxes and remove the screws that secure both blocks. Pull the fuse boxes towards you, making sure that the block connectors come out of the dashboard. This is done to mark the plug strips.

Step 3

Remove, if present, the radio receiver, but if it is absent, then it is enough to remove the plug. Turn the connector blocks 90 ° through the hole into which the radio is inserted and pull them out from the dashboard. Remove the gearshift lever, this will allow further removal of the panel more conveniently. Disconnect the connector blocks by pulling out the front ashtray panel. Next, remove the bottom shelf and pull out the drawer for things.

Step 4

Remove the steering column by removing its shrouds and the dashboard amplifier. Also disconnect the return spring, pull out the bonnet lock handle and disconnect it. In addition, remove the side upholstery from the front end, slide the panel and disconnect the hoses of the branch pipes from the side air ducts. Remove the wiring harnesses from the holder, having previously removed the plastic fastening clamps. Pulling, with force, remove the dashboard.
