Step 1
Wash your headlights. Dirt buildup is very often the main cause of sudden deterioration in headlights. If you do not want to constantly wipe the headlights, then install headlight washers. On start up this option on the VAZ 2110, unfortunately, they do not. Therefore, you will have to be an inventor for a while. For "ten" Volgovskiye washers are quite suitable. Remove the bumper, drill holes, insert the washer modules into them, tightening them with bolts. Connect the hose to the washer fluid reservoir. Also connect the button in the passenger compartment, which will control the operation of the washers. Connect it only through a fuse.
Step 2
Examine the integrity of the headlamp glass. If it's cracked, install a new one. To do this, dismantle the headlamp unit, having previously disconnected the negative terminal from the battery. Wash the headlight. Take a building hair dryer and turn it on at maximum power. Heat the headlamp glass edge in a gentle, circular motion to loosen the sealant. Pry the glass with a plastic screwdriver blade and remove it from the headlight. Remove old sealant from glass and headlamp housing. Degrease the body and edge of the new glass. Apply a coat of new sealant. Press the glass firmly against the headlight housing.
Step 3
Replace the reflector if the old one is peeling. To do this, you need to remove the glass from the case. Unscrew and remove the bulb. Unscrew the bolts holding the reflector from the back. Remove the old reflector by releasing the latches. Install a new one and reassemble the headlamp in the reverse order.
Step 4
Replace factory bulbs with halogen bulbs. They shine much brighter. Also worth noting is their durability and economy. Instead of halogen bulbs, you can install xenon. Xenon lamps are of different power, on which the brightness of the glow depends. Install only those types of bulbs that are recommended for use in your car model.
