Instructions

Step 1

The simplest thing that you can do yourself is to replace the temperature sensor that is installed in the cabin.

Step 2

Press down on the long side of the sensor housing, disengage the retaining tabs from the roof trim and remove the sensor. Disconnect the two pads with wires from the body. If it is necessary to remove the SAUO unit, then pry one of its sides with a screwdriver and disengage the fixing antenna.

Step 3

The most difficult job is to replace the micromotor of the heater. It is located to the left of the heater block in the engine compartment. Take a key 10 and unscrew the two nuts of the right and left wiper arms, remove the levers. With an awl or screwdriver, remove the four frill plugs - the fastening of the windshield frame lining. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws on the frill. Open the hood and remove the seal.

Step 4

If a coolant leak is detected from the radiator, it must be replaced. To do this, disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the storage battery. Remove the trim, windshield frame trim and noise insulation upholstery.

Step 5

Remove the fan from the heater. Having unscrewed the fastening screw, disconnect the clamp of the vacuum hose from the heater body. Hook up with a screwdriver and remove the spring clips securing the air intake housing. Since it is rather difficult to get close to the screws on the front case, you may have to remove the dashboard. To do this, unscrew the fastening screws from the passenger compartment and raise the heater. This will give you access to the screws on the air intake housing.

Step 6

Then unscrew the two screws at the middle mount of the front case and the side screws. Remove the front case.

Step 7

Loosen the tightening of the clamps and disconnect the steam outlet and other hoses from the radiator fittings. Hook up with a screwdriver and remove the spring clips from the rear heater casing. Unscrew the screws of the rear heater shroud and remove the rear shroud. Take out the radiator.

Step 8

Clean the dirty radiator well and blow it out with a jet of air. Install all parts in reverse order.

Step 9

Fill with coolant and check the tightness of all hose connections.
