A dent on a car does not always require replacement of a body element or painting. If the paint on your car did not crack after the impact, then such damage can be eliminated using a vacuum method with a minimum amount of time.
Instructions
Step 1
The essence of the vacuum method is that dents and deformations on the car body are either squeezed out from the inside using a special tool, or pulled out from the front outside. The very name of this straightening method indicates that the leveling and removal of dents occurs due to the creation of a vacuum between the surface to be repaired and the material that is attached to it. And the creation of such an environment, accordingly, forms a dense and strong adhesion to the metal. For example, large indentations and depressions in the housing are removed by installing rubber suction cups, also called vacuum stops.
Place the vacuum stop on the concave section.
Step 2
Lead the pumping station and connect the hose to the suction cup body.
Step 3
Connect the pump to the mains and wait until a vacuum develops inside the stop. This helps to firmly hold the suction cup on the surface of the part to be repaired.
Step 4
Disconnect the pumping station. Manually or using minilifters, mechanical lifters, pull the suction cup away from the dent
Step 5
Drag the part until the curvature returns to its original shape.
Step 6
Minor depressions and concavities are eliminated using polymer adhesive systems. The work is carried out in the same way as with the vacuum stop. The procedure is similar.
Step 7
In addition to the solutions mentioned above, there is another technology for eliminating cavities and deep, deforming scratches on the case. The so-called PDR technology, which allows bumps to bend from the inside.
Thanks to the whole set of special tools PDR-DOL, which includes levers of various lengths, shapes and thicknesses, a competent and skilled craftsman can restore the previous state of the damaged surface in a matter of minutes. Without removing the part itself, the trim and without disassembling the car, the tool allows you to get and act on the desired area so that the result is a smooth factory geometry.
