Before fixing a dent on your own, carefully inspect the car body. Found a dent? Excellent. We take the pre-prepared tools and from the inside of the body with a rubber mallet we need to straighten the skin with very light taps.
Step 3
If it does not work, then you need to wrap the block in a rag, attach it to the dented place and again, slightly tapping, continue to straighten the groove. Gradually, the dent should disappear.
Step 4
There is a category of dents that cannot be removed without a trace. They arise if the car is mechanically damaged by some sharp angle, such as the angle of a board. To eliminate such a dent, a block of wood, large enough to straighten the groove to the most even state, will come in handy. But all the same, the trace from it will remain noticeable. To completely correct the violation of the plating, you need to walk over the entire repaired area with fine sandpaper, then putty it and paint it. Then there will be no trace of the dent.
