About 70% of all expert examinations on road accidents, which are appointed by justices of the peace, are classified as independent. And there are several reasons for this: bad roads, an increased fleet of vehicles, non-observance of traffic rules, corruption, etc. However, in order for the conducted independent examination to be filed to the case, it must be carried out correctly. Experts offer their own instructions, following which you can make the correct independent examination.
If possible, after a road accident it is better to order an independent examination on your own. After all, the earlier it is carried out, the more reliable its result. Many traces can only be accurately identified while it is fresh.
How is an independent autoexamination carried out?
It should be borne in mind that an independent examination appointed by judges will still not be free. The amount of the procedure can be additionally included in the claim.
As a rule, an independent examination is carried out in 2 stages, each of which is important in its own way. So, in the process of an independent autoexamination they carry out:
- inspection of a vehicle with the subsequent drawing up of an inspection report;
- determination (with the calculation of the exact calculation) of damage.
During the first stage, the expert conducts a detailed inspection of the car with photographing of all the shortcomings. In addition, he records the general condition of the car, entering all the necessary data into a special inspection report.
The inspection report must include the following data:
- description of those. characteristics of the car (type and number of the engine; brand; model; number, etc.);
- the nature and a complete list of all damages that were determined by external inspection of the vehicle (number of the certificate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs about TP; number of the OSAGO policy; details of the insurer, etc.);
- expert opinion on the result of the inspection (completeness; technical condition of the machine; list of required work to eliminate defects to restore the operational properties of the car; link to the relevant regulations, etc.).
The inspection must be done very carefully. After all, all those damages that will not be taken into account: described and photographed, you will have to repair yourself.
Experienced and professional experts, in addition to the list of repair work, also add a preliminary calculation of the cost of parts, an assessment of repair and adjustment work, as well as recommendations for diagnostics.
If, at the beginning of the repair work, problems were identified that were hidden from the eyes and impossible to determine during an external examination, they must be issued in a separate act.
The first stage of an independent autoexamination is considered basic and rather difficult, and only a highly professional expert can perform it at the proper level.
The second stage of the examination is a kind of result of the entire examination. It includes calculating the cost of damage and potential repairs to the vehicle. When drawing up an estimate, the expert must rely on certain regulatory and technical documentation, which includes printed publications, electronic reference media. What should be observed when conducting an independent examination
