The main goal of the used car recycling program is to support the Russian car market and renew the car fleet operated by the country's population. By joining the program, car owners, instead of an old car, receive a discount of 50 thousand rubles for purchasing a new one made in Russia.

Step 1
Check if you can comply with all the conditions of the recycling program: whether your car was produced no later than 2000, whether its weight does not exceed 3.5 tons, whether the car has been in your ownership for more than a year and whether you have all the necessary documents confirming ownership … These include PTS, owner's passport, registration certificate and state registration plates (car numbers). In addition to these requirements, the car must also be complete, which means that it has an undamaged body and chassis, tires and disks, an exhaust system, an engine, transmission, attachments and glazing elements.
Step 2
Remove the vehicle from registration and issue a general power of attorney, certified by a notary, for transfer to an authorized car dealer. Moreover, it is not necessary to present the car itself in addition to the documents in order to deregister it for disposal. Take your old car to a car dealer. If she is not on the move, you will have to pay for the services of a tow truck.
Step 3
Sign a contract at the dealership that will allow the dealer to carry out the disposal of your vehicle, which will be kept in safekeeping until a certificate of disposal is received. Pay for recycling services. Then you will need to select a new car that matches the parameters set by the scrapping program. You can get it into ownership only after the issuance of a recycling certificate.
