After you get inside the car, you may be surprised to find out that the battery is frozen. In this case, you cannot immediately load it when starting the car. Better start with an easier task. For this, the inclusion of dimensions or low beam is suitable. With the help of such simple procedures, you can resume chemical reactions in the battery. But this is only true for good batteries. If he has the preconditions that he will soon need to be changed, then only lighting it will help to warm him up.

If, on the fifth attempt, the car still starts up in a severe frost, then you need to remember that while it is unstable. To help him develop and warm up, relieve him of unnecessary stress. Therefore, you need to turn off all consumers of electricity, air conditioning, do not turn the steering wheel and do not press the brake pedal. In severe frost, anything can freeze in the car. Including coolant. In order to warm it up, you need to remove the terminals from the engine fan and power it the other way around, that is, so that it blows warm air from the exhaust manifold onto the frozen radiator.

If you have a car with an automatic gearbox, then you cannot go right away. While the car is in the "parking" mode, no liquid circulates in it, which means that it will remain cold, even if the engine is already warmed up. To warm up the box, you need to press the brake pedal with your foot and, without releasing it, move the lever smoothly in all positions from "parking" to speed "L" and back, lingering in each of them for 10 seconds. After that, you need to set it to a certain speed and, while continuing to hold the brake, stand like this for 1-2 minutes.

If you feel that your brakes or handbrake are frozen, then you can try to freeze them with hot water. Or, if you have a piece of hose, direct a stream of warm exhaust gases to the brake pads.
