Regardless of what happened to your heater radiator (it leaks, requires replacement or repair), you first need to be able to remove it correctly without aggravating the whole situation. To do this, simply follow the instructions below. This article discusses the most difficult option - removing the stove radiator from the "classic" VAZ model.

From the tools you will need: keys for "7", "8" and "10", screwdrivers (regular and Phillips)
Instructions
Step 1
Before starting work, you can drain the coolant (antifreeze or water) from the cooling system, but this is not necessary, since if the entire process is carried out carefully, the losses will be insignificant.
Step 2
In the engine compartment there are two hoses (inlet and outlet), tightened with clamps on the metal pipes of the stove radiator. Use a screwdriver to loosen the clamps and pull off both hoses. There are rubber seals at the branch pipes, which must also be removed.
Step 3
In the cabin, you need to unscrew and remove the shelf-panel of the radio receiver (usually it is attached with two self-tapping screws).
Then, using a screwdriver or a key on "7", you need to unscrew the clamp of the stove faucet drive cable and remove the cable.
Step 4
Using a screwdriver, remove the 4 spring clips located along the perimeter of the heater fan housing. After removing the brackets, the case must be slightly lowered and moved to the left, since the wires coming from the fan motor will not completely allow it to be removed.
Now you can easily get the stove radiator out of the case.
