Technical inspection is one of the most important procedures for drivers and vehicle owners. Every year, the maintenance procedure is simplified, and since 2014, innovations have also been in effect. The list of documents has been reduced to a minimum, and the procedure itself has become more painless for drivers.
It is necessary
- - passport;
- - TCP;
- - power of attorney to undergo maintenance;
- - fire extinguisher;
- - warning triangle;
- - first aid kit.
Instructions
Step 1
The procedure for passing the technical inspection is simple, you need to prepare a small package of documents. Show your passport - an identity document is required to be presented when going through MOT. Another document will not work in this case. When registering a TO, passport data is required directly, as well as related information about the applicant.
Step 2
Providing TCP is obligatory. Show your vehicle passport or vehicle registration certificate. Each of these documents contains detailed information about the car (or about another vehicle), which is used to draw up maintenance documents.
Step 3
Additionally, you may need a power of attorney to pass MOT if the car is not registered to you. This document can be written by hand, in a simple form with the words "I trust the passage of the technical inspection …", or this permissive phrase must be included in the form of a valid power of attorney to drive a car. Take the power of attorney from the owner of the car and show it to the inspector.
Step 4
When going through MOT, it is required to have in the car: a working and not expired fire extinguisher (volume of at least two liters), a working warning triangle, preferably a first aid kit. For her absence, in accordance with Article 12.5 of Part 1 of the Administrative Code, traffic police officers have the right to issue a warning. Purchase the required items in advance.
Step 5
A car is not allowed for technical inspection if: tint headlights are present both at the back and at the front; there are tinted windscreen, front and side windows (tinting is allowed no more than 40%); cracked headlights or side windows; xenon is installed, which was not originally intended for a particular model; registration numbers are illegible. Correct these violations before the inspection.
