Renault vehicles are equipped with Philips and Blaupunkt radios. Depending on the make and model of the radio, the method of entering the code differs. The code itself can be found on the radio map that comes with your Renault manual.

Instructions
Step 1
The design feature of the Philips 22DC459 / 62E, 22DC461 / 62E, 22DC259 / 62 radio tape recorders is the absence of its own display. To enter the code on these models of radio tape recorders, turn on the device. The display will show CODE. Enter the code using the joystick buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. To do this, use the cylindrical switch "C" installed behind the joystick, enter the first digit of the code number. After this figure becomes correct, press the "B" button to move to the next figure. In this way, enter all the digits of the code and confirm the code by pressing the "B" button. After entering the last digit, the system will turn on.
Step 2
On the Philips 22DC259 / 62Z CD radio (it also does not have its own display), the code is entered from the remote control. Turn on the radio with the POWER button. The display will show CODE, then 0000. Use the wheel on the remote control to set the desired value in the place of the flashing digit. Press the arrow button at the bottom of the remote to confirm the number entered and move to the next one. After entering all the numbers, press and hold the arrow button until you hear a beep to confirm the code has been entered.
Step 3
If there is no remote control on the Philips 22DC259 / 62Z CD radio, you can enter the code from the panel. To do this, turn on the power with the POWER button. The display will show CODE followed by 0000 with the first digit flashing. Press button 1 until the desired value of the first digit of the code appears. Press button 2. The second digit starts flashing. Pressing button 2, set the required value for the second digit of the code. In the same way, use buttons 3 and 4 to enter the remaining digits of the code combination. Finally, press button 6 and hold it until a confirmation beep appears. If the code number is entered incorrectly, the message CODE will appear. After a minute, re-enter the combination. The code is entered in the same way on the Philips 22DC239 / 62 CD radio.
Step 4
Switch on the device to enter the code on the Blaupunkt BP 6500 Twingo radio. The display will show CODE. Briefly press the FMT or AF button. The display will show 0000. Press the first digit of the code with the FMT button. The second is with the AF button. The third is with the TA button. The fourth is with the ML button. Confirm the input of the code combination by pressing the ">" button on the tuner. The display will show REG OFF and REG ON in sequence and the radio will turn on. If the code is entered incorrectly, the message CODE ERR will appear. There are 4 attempts to enter the correct code number in total.
Step 5
To enter the code on the Philips 22DC982 / 72B radio, turn it on. When CODE appears on the display, press button 1 on the panel. Enter the first digit of the code using the arrow buttons (in the lower left part of the panel). To confirm the entry of the number and go to the next, press the button 1. Use this method to enter all the digits of the code combination. After entering the last digit, the system will turn on.
Step 6
On the Blaupunkt BP0491 radio tape recorder, after the CODE message appears, press button 1 to enter the first digit as many times as necessary to set the desired value. Immediately after that, proceed to entering the second digit using button 2. Enter the remaining digits of the code combination using buttons 3 and 4. When finished, press button 5 and the radio will turn on.
Step 7
To enter the code into the Philips 22DC449 / 62 radio tape recorder after the appearance of the inscription CODE and 0000, press the button 1. The inscription will change to "0 … … …". Enter the first digit of the combination using the up / down buttons. When this digit is correct, press button 1 to confirm and move to the next digit. Using this operation, enter all digits of the code number. After entering the last digit, the radio will turn on.
Step 8
On the Philips 22DC594 / 62S radio tape recorder, after turning on the power and the CODE message appears, press the "- +" button on the control handle. Rotate this knob to select the desired value for the first digit of the code. Press the "- +" button to confirm your entry and move to the next digit. Enter all digits of the code number this way. After entering the last digit, the radio will turn on.
