The MTPL policy is a compulsory insurance of the civil liability of the car owner. Your liability to third parties is insured in case of damage to the car in an accident.
It is necessary
- - CTP policy;
- - driver's license.
Instructions
Step 1
There are 2 types of OSAGO policies: with a limited circle of persons allowed to drive a car, and without restrictions. In the case of unlimited insurance, any driver who has a driver's license and a power of attorney to drive a vehicle can be allowed to drive a specific vehicle. In the case of insurance with restrictions, each new driver must be entered into the CTP policy form.
Step 2
Contact the insurance company with which you entered into an insurance contract. Present the completed policy form, the driver's license of the person who will be entered, and the passport. The new driver will be inscribed in the free lines of the policy or on its reverse side.
Step 3
Check that this correction must be certified by the seal of the insurance company. You should be issued a new insurance policy with all the data entered to replace the old one. But often, agents of insurance companies neglect this rule. In this case, make sure that the full name of the person added to the old insurance policy has been entered into the general database.
Step 4
If the person you are going to enter into the MTPL policy is under 22 years old and has a short driving experience, the insurer has the right to demand additional insurance premiums from you. The surcharge will be calculated based on the number of days remaining until the end of the insurance. The increasing coefficients in this case will be as follows: if the experience of the driver included in the insurance is less than 2 years - 15%; if his age is less than 22 years - 20%; if both conditions are not met - 30%.
