A compulsory motor third party liability insurance policy is a document confirming that a certain insurance company assumes part of the financial responsibility that may arise as a result of causing any damage to someone else's property. Usually this case occurs in road traffic accidents.
It is necessary
- - old policy (if it was already issued earlier);
- - certificate of registration (STS);
- - driver's licenses of persons included in the insurance.

Step 1
There are two types of policies: the so-called "limited insurance", which applies to the number of one to five drivers inclusive; and "unlimited insurance" - applicable to any number of drivers. In the second case, with "unlimited insurance", any person with a driver's license can drive a vehicle without further indicating his data in the policy.
Step 2
To enter a driver in a "limited" policy, you must come to the office of the selected insurance company, having a driver's license with you (your own and those who will be included in the insurance). You will also need a certificate of registration (STS) and, if previously issued, an old policy. With all the documents, you must contact the employee who will give you a specific application form to fill out.
Step 3
At the same time, the insurance manager will calculate the cost of insurance (if it is issued for the first time) or recalculate, taking into account the data on the new, entered driver. The client should carefully check all the information entered about the new insured persons. After payment of the calculated amount, a new policy is issued, in which all the previous parameters are saved, except for the list of persons allowed to drive the vehicle.
