While cars in Belarus are somewhat cheaper than in Russia. And for those who live not very far from the border, for example, in Smolensk, Bryansk, even in Moscow, it makes sense to buy a car in a neighboring state.
Instructions
Step 1
Russians do not need a visa to visit Belarus. Prepare for the trip a foreign passport, valid for at least six months from the date of return from the trip. Or an ordinary passport with a citizenship insert.
Step 2
Find a suitable vehicle at an online auction. For example, on the portal www.ea.by, www.rul.by ›cars, www.av.by and others. Using the search, select the suitable models. Indicate mileage, year of manufacture, type of gearbox, body type, etc. The site will open suitable options on a separate page. Contact the owners for details. Warn me that you are from Russia and it will take you some time to get there. Just in case, arrange an inspection with several owners of vehicles from the same city
Step 3
Pay the customs deposit in advance. This can be done in one of the divisions of the Federal Customs Service. Look for their addresses and phone numbers on the websit
Step 4
Go to Belarus. It is best to choose Minsk as the port of arrival, it is in the capital that the largest selection of cars is available.
Step 5
After meeting with the owners of the cars, check the condition of the interior, transport characteristics. Use a special device to probe the surface of the car to find out if it has been repainted. After that, ask the owner to show the documents. You will need:
- a vehicle registration certificate issued before January 01, 2010, which confirms the permanent registration of the car in the territory of Belarus, or the same certificate, but with a record of the removal of the iron horse from the registration register. The document must be approved by the signature of the head of the registration authority of Belarus, as well as by his seal. Instead of a certificate, a document or its certified copy can be taken into account, confirming the release of the car for free circulation on the territory of Belarus (for example, a certificate of customs clearance for goods for personal use, a state customs declaration or a certificate of the TS-25a form.
- a certificate that the vehicle complies with the Euro-4 environmental class. It is issued on the basis of the information contained in the document of conformity, "Type approval of the vehicle" and "Conclusions on the conformity of the chassis to the requirements". They are updated monthly. You can view the list on the website of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology - www.gost.ru, and the Federal Customs Service - www.customs.ru). On the basis of this certificate, the customs authorities of Russia issue a vehicle passport (PTS)
Step 6
You can conclude a purchase and sale agreement only with an individual. Organizations are prohibited from registering the sale of a car to a Russian citizen. Therefore, if you decide to buy a car in a showroom, and not from a private owner, first register it for a Belarusian. And then he rewrites it on you. But it's easier to find the owner of a suitable car right away and make a purchase.
Step 7
Use the navigator on the way back. He will pave a convenient route to your destination.
Step 8
With all the necessary documents, it will be easy to go through customs. The only problem is the queues. There are especially many cars in spring and autumn. Consider this when going shopping in Belarus.
