Before taking part in road traffic, the driver must ensure that the side-view mirrors are installed correctly on the vehicle. Not only its comfortable placement in the car depends on this, but also its safety. With the help of correctly installed side mirrors, you will be able to control the situation and avoid accidents on the road.
Instructions
Step 1
Switch off the engine, any of the mirror adjustments should only be made when your vehicle is not in motion. Sit down on the steering wheel and adjust the driver's seat "for you" so that you feel comfortable. Turn and tilt your head slightly to the left. Adjust your side mirror so that you can see the edge of the rear bumper on the left side reasonably well.
Step 2
Set up a second mirror in the same way. With this setting, you can improve your visibility and have full control over everything that happens next to your car.
Step 3
Adjust both side mirrors correctly to avoid accidents on the road. All manipulations should be carried out smoothly and slowly, so that you can stop when the reflection of your car is not visible in the mirror. If you have perfectly tuned the side mirrors, then in conjunction with the interior mirror you get a complete overview of the situation on the road.
Step 4
Install special parabolic mirrors to help increase the rear view of the vehicle. Attach these mirrors just above the salon mirrors. The only drawback of such mirrors is that they can distort the image to some extent, which will be unusual for the driver.
Step 5
Check the installation of the mirrors. Do this so that you can understand how other road users are moving in relation to your vehicle. You need to check the adjustment of the side mirrors as follows: ask someone you know to walk around your car at a slow pace at a distance of about 2 meters. You must watch him in the side view mirrors. If the person's reflection first disappears in the side mirror and immediately becomes visible in the mirror inside the passenger compartment, then you have adjusted all the side mirrors of your car accurately and correctly.
