It is recommended to have a certain set of things in the car. Some of them are required, some are individual. In any case, it is worth choosing those items that may come in handy on the trip and store them in the car.
First of all, purchase and put in the car a mandatory set, without which it is strongly not recommended to drive. This set includes a driver's first aid kit, fire extinguisher, emergency stop sign. Also, do not forget to carry all the necessary documents with you: a driver's license, valid insurance and other documents. They may be needed if you are stopped by a traffic police officer.
The second category of items that you should carry with you in your car includes things you need to repair your car. Bring a tool kit, rags, work gloves, pump, jack, spare chamber, sealant, tow rope, spare wheel, etc. Of course, it is not at all necessary to keep all these things in the car, especially if you do not understand anything about the structure of the car and even with the necessary tools you will not be able to make minimal repairs. However, having items in this category can help a lot, especially if you have long trips ahead.
A variety of fluids can be added to the third category: gasoline, antifreeze, oil, brake and glass cleaning fluid, etc. As a rule, they are most appropriate when traveling out of town, where there is no opportunity, if necessary, to visit a gas station or a specialized store.
Be sure to take at least a minimal set of medications with you. Unfortunately, in a modern driver's first-aid kit there are no drugs - only bandages, tourniquets, scissors, sterile gloves. It is worth putting in the glove compartment antiemetic, pain relievers, anti-poisoning agents, stomach and heart pills and drops and other medications that can be useful on the way, if not for you, then perhaps for your passengers.
And finally, each driver has an individual set of things. It may include wet wipes, a flashlight and spare batteries, a roll of toilet paper, and a phone charger.
