Most modern cars have headlight washers. This is a very handy device that allows you to clean the headlights from adhering dirt without leaving the car. However, the washers can break. In this case, you must immediately install new washers. To do this, you need to remove the old devices.

Instructions
Step 1
De-energize the vehicle as the headlight washers are powered by the current generated by the alternator. To do this, open the hood and remove the negative terminal from the battery. It is also worth taking care of the place where you will be dismantling. It is best to do this on an overpass, driving the car so that its front part hangs slightly above the ground. This will allow easy access to the front bumper, on which the washers are installed. If there is no overpass nearby, then you can put the car with its front wheels on some curb or garage threshold.
Step 2
Wash the car before removing the washers. Pay particular attention to the front bumper and the space underneath. It is there that a large amount of dirt accumulates. Washing is necessary in order to get rid of clogged dirt that will interfere with the process of dismantling the washers.
Step 3
Remove the front bumper. To do this, unscrew all the screws securing it. The location of the bolts must be remembered so as not to confuse them during reassembly.
Step 4
Do not jerk the bumper so as not to break the wires to the washers and fog lights. Shine a flashlight on the back of the bumper and find the wire pads. Detach them carefully. Drain the washer fluid reservoir. If you have an anti-freeze liquid filled in, do not pour it on the ground under any circumstances! It is very poisonous, so it can cause irreparable harm to the environment.
Step 5
Feel for a thin hose going to the washer nozzle. Pull it gently. If the hose does not give in, then you can try to swing it a little in different directions. Now the bumper no longer holds anything.
Step 6
Remove the bumper from the crutches and lay it face down. On the inside you will see the nozzle mechanism. It is attached with several bolts. Unscrew them. Be careful not to damage the threads in the plastic.
Step 7
Open the side latches of the washer housing. Remove the washer after removing the front cover. The withdrawal process is complete. Install in reverse sequence. Do not forget to check the correct direction of the jet of the new washer.
