There are cars whose headlight washers are made in such a way that their sensors are triggered when there is no rain or dirt. Accordingly, the excess fluid consumption, sometimes quite significant, by the way, is also not entirely "useful" for the headlights, since from frequent contact with non-freezing liquid, they fade faster and lose their shine, and this is an additional cost for polishing them. Therefore, some car owners turn them off.
There are two ways to disable them.
The first is to remove the fuse, that is, completely turn off the headlight washer.
The second method should be described in more detail.
So, the first way. The cover of the fuse box located under the hood is removed, the one under the air intake on the right. Find the inscription on the H / L WASH fuse layout diagram, this is it, to turn off the headlight washer, you need to turn it off. In order to completely turn off, you must first "drive" the non-freezing liquid through the system, be sure to undiluted, clean.
Method number two. In the instructions for replacing the cabin filter, you will find a description of where the two chips located at the bottom of the glove compartment are located, turn them off. Now the glove compartment needs to be removed. We find the locks that secure it, and unfasten it. Below you can see the mount that needs to be removed. Take an asterisk screwdriver, and in some cars there may be an octagon instead of an asterisk. Unscrew the self-tapping screws, there are about five to six of them in a circle. Remove the plastic, carefully, the chip is attached to it, remove it too. Squeeze the ends of the attachment with your hands, with pliers you can not calculate the force and break, now take it out. Plastic comes from the bottom of the door, it is fastened with two locks, in principle, it is not necessary to remove it, but without it it is much more convenient. Take the key "10", and unscrew the two bolts. Now gently pull the block down, then to the left. There is a diode that is responsible for turning the washer on and off. It is black; to remove it, you need to remove the electrical tape from the chip, and bend the latch holding the diode, pry the diode with a screwdriver and you have it in your hands, look, do not lose it, it will come in handy again. Now you can check if the washer is working.
