The safety of the driver and passengers of a car largely depends on high-quality road lighting and a good view. This will not be possible if there is dirt on the windshield or headlights. To remove it while driving, glass and headlight washers are intended. The nozzles of such washers are unobtrusive. In winter, instead of water, a special liquid is sprayed out of them, which does not turn into ice in the cold. During the operation of the injectors, they must be cleaned and periodically removed.

Instructions

Step 1

In order to remove the windshield washer nozzles, open the hood and see if it has soundproofing. If so, pay attention to whether you need to remove it completely, or you can bend a part to get close to the nozzles. Disconnect the hoses that supply fluid to them.

Step 2

After you have opened access, try blowing them or piercing them with a fine needle to clear them of accumulated dirt. If removal is unavoidable, then gently push the nozzle from the back side, and it will come out calmly and easily. Alternatively, pick it up from the outside with a thin screwdriver and remove.

Step 3

Removing the headlight washer nozzles is most often necessary to install the electric drive. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery terminal and remove the front bumper of the car, then carefully detach the injector cover. Disconnect the headlight washer hose from the electric injector drive and remove the cover from it.

Step 4

Installation of injectors is carried out upside-down. Look carefully at the design of your injectors and at the grooves, and which they should enter on the car body. Adjust them left - right. In some cases, it is necessary to adjust the height, for this it is advisable to put a seal of the required thickness under the rear part.
