A personal car has long passed from the category of luxury to the category of an ordinary thing, without which a person cannot do in everyday life. However, there is a lot of controversy over whether it is really so necessary, because there are both pros and cons to a personal car.
Instructions
Step 1
The very first and most obvious plus of your own car is the presence of personal space. On the bus, subway and any other public transport, it is violated by everyone who wants to. As for your own car, then all the space in it is exclusively yours, and no one will encroach on it. You will not be pushed, asked to move, for the tenth time demand to show your ticket and make you nervous with loud chatter right above your ear. Yet this psychological factor is of great importance.
Step 2
You are free in everything and from everything. You go where you need to, at the speed you need and along the route you have chosen. You are no longer standing at a bus stop, waiting for a certain bus or trolleybus, and you are not afraid to be late for an important meeting.
Step 3
A personal car is very practical and convenient, regardless of whether you live in a huge city or a small village, where all the necessary facilities are within a maximum of ten minutes walk. You can safely go to the dacha and take a large luggage with you, and with the same success you can go to the neighboring city for shopping.
Step 4
As for the cons, most of them can be summed up in one word - costs. This is a waste of money, gasoline, time, etc. Indeed, the car is a pleasure for which you constantly have to pay. Having once laid out a tidy sum for the vehicle itself, you will not be limited to this, because further expenses will follow on insurance, summer and winter tires, repairs or simply replacement of any auto parts and, of course, gasoline.
Step 5
A private car takes a lot of time, despite the fact that it can sometimes save you a lot on the way. But you will understand this when you are faced with the problem of finding a parking lot near a house, office or shopping center, with queues at the traffic police, with car repair and washing. And most of the above is unlikely to be avoided by the average car owner.
Step 6
The disadvantages include the fact that driving is a great psychological burden for the driver. Every day on the road, you meet hundreds of other vehicles and their drivers, and you cannot vouch for the adequacy or driving skills of each of them. Any mistake or simply inattention can turn into a terrible accident and cost lives not only to the driver, but also to people who are in the same car with him.
