This parking looks like this. Come close to the car in front of your chosen seat. The distance between him and your car should be at least 50 cm and no more than 1 m. On the right rear wheel, estimate the turning area that will be safe for you and the neighboring car. Draw an imaginary line from it up to the glass - this way you will create a conditional mark for yourself, which you will be equal to when parking. Back up until the imaginary line is aligned with the end of the car you are going around.
As soon as you reach this mark, twist the steering wheel to the right until it stops and slowly move until you see the right front edge of the car located behind yours.
Take your time when performing maneuvers. It is better to do everything slowly, but accurately, than to hurry. Indeed, at best, you will have to park, at worst, you risk causing an accident.
Then align the wheels and start aligning the machine. Sometimes you have to make a few forward movements before you can put the machine parallel to the curb. Remember to level the car and level the distance between you and the cars in front and behind.
Reverse perpendicular parking
Perpendicular parking is usually done in reverse. It allows you to park your car in the garage neatly and without incidents. Also, with this method of parking, it is easier to leave if something happened to the car, for example, the battery is dead. You can always open the hood and connect all the wires.
Perpendicular parking means that the car enthusiast parks the car perpendicular to the curb and parallel to two other cars. This type of parking can often be seen in parking lots in front of shopping centers. The algorithm of actions in this situation looks like this. First, press as close as possible - about 20 cm - to the car located in front of your parking spot. Next, steer the car with the aligned wheels back. Next, unscrew the steering wheel all the way towards the parking lot and slowly start winding the trunk back. Drive in slowly, leveling the car over the mirrors. It is so convenient to keep track of how smoothly you enter the parking lot.
As soon as you see that the distance between you and the neighboring car is sufficient, align the wheels and drive to the end. If you are not a very experienced driver and are not yet very familiar with the nuances of the road traffic, at first, use the help of more experienced motorist friends.
