Step 1
Please note that at the moment many navigation systems operate on the Navitel software, therefore, it is necessary to search for maps for it. But if your navigator is running on another program, review and write down its name. Such data can be found in the navigator itself or in its documents.

Type in the search engine the name that was written in the navigator program. Go to the official website of the software provider. Click the "Downloads" button, as it is in this section of the menu that you can download various files. Also, if necessary, you can download the software, in addition to the maps you need.

Please note, usually maps are subdivided into cities and regions. You will need to select the required maps from the menu section, then press the "Download" button. It is worth noting that saving them can take more than one hour, especially if you have a low-speed Internet connection.
Step 4
After the download is complete, you will need to connect the navigator to the computer using a special cable that should have been in the box along with the navigation system. And do not forget: first, the cable must be connected to the navigator, and only then to the personal computer.
Step 5
After connecting the navigation system to the PC, go to the file manager of the device. You can use the built-in "Explorer" on your computer for this. Find there a folder called maps, it should contain the downloaded maps that are available only for the navigation system. Copy all files downloaded from the site to this folder.
Step 6
Next, remove the device and check how the navigator works with new maps. If necessary, you can customize them, as well as sort by region or alphabetically, but here everything will depend on your desire. If the navigation device operates normally, it will not need to download additional files.
