The first time driving is a very responsible and important moment in the biography of most people. No wonder there is such an aphorism: "I am not a coward, but I am afraid." It seems that there is nothing terrible, but your knees tremble treacherously, your hands do not obey, and your back is soaked as if you were dragging a centner of potatoes!
Instructions
Step 1
To begin with, collect your thoughts, remember everything that you were taught in a driving school. If you know all the rules, signs and markings, then it will not be difficult for you. More confidence and determination. Do not be afraid of other road users, they are also afraid of you. If an instructor or a competent driver with experience is sitting next to you, he will always be able to correct and explain mistakes to you. But if this is your first time driving alone, then be careful not to be nervous or afraid. This will distract from driving.
Step 2
Be sure to put a student sign on the car. At the moment, it is a yellow square with a black exclamation mark. It is better not to use the letter "U", as it assumes that the car has a second set of pedals for the instructor.
Step 3
Before going anywhere, determine the route: on the map or ask familiar drivers. Later, when you are an ace, you will travel to unfamiliar places without looking at the map. And first, it's better to plot a rough route in your head. Decide where you want to go: gas station, store or work.
Step 4
In general, for the first time, a large area where you can practice driving is most suitable. For convenience, you can place sticks or bottles that will be clearly visible to you. Practice the exercises that you did (or didn’t do) at the driving school: snake, parallel parking, boxing, etc.
Step 5
So, the car is ready, the route is laid. Before moving off, adjust all mirrors, check the headlights and dimensions. It is best to move in the right lane at a speed of no more than 30-40 km / h. So you will not interfere with other road users, and you will be calmer.
