Step 1
Choose candles based on parameters such as heat rating and dimensions. The heat number determines the operating temperature. Step 2
Choose cheaper spark plugs suitable for VAZ vehicles. They are produced by BRISK. This is a classic product with a nickel alloy electrode. Pay attention to the high coefficient of thermal conductivity of these candles. The candles of the Japanese company NGK and the American company CHAMPION are distinguished by their high reliability. They work well as they are durable thanks to the iridium in the center electrode.
Step 3
Do not purchase spark plugs that are visibly damaged or cracked. Be sure to check before installation whether the electrode gap is suitable for the size. Carbon deposits may appear on the spark plug electrodes, which you should remove to avoid vehicle damage.
Step 4
To get into the car. If it happens intermittently, then your spark plug is faulty.

Find out the size of the spark gap for your VAZ model. Also, do not apply voltage more than 18 kV to the spark plugs when checking them.
