Step 1
Leather or leatherette covers cannot be washed. Wipe them with a special spray or cleaner. Spray on the entire surface of the cover, let it act and remove with a dry cloth. For stubborn stains, use a liquid creamy cleaner. Apply the product to the cover and use a dry cloth to spread it over all surfaces in a circular motion. Give the product time to absorb and dry according to the instructions. Wipe off excess cream from the surface. After cleaning the interior, let it dry for at least a day. It is better if the car at this time will be in a warm place, but not in direct sunlight. Otherwise, a chemical smell will be added to the cleanliness of the cabin.
Step 2
Wash velor or fabric covers. To do this, they must be carefully removed from the seats and inspected. If the cover has an inner foam insert, it cannot be washed. After all, the foam rubber will begin to crumble during washing. If the cover has a fabric seal, it can be washed.
Step 3
If the dirt is very heavy, first soak the covers in warm water with a delicate detergent. Soaking is not suitable for velor or tapestry covers that can shrink.
Step 4
After soaking, wash the covers in the washing machine. Select a delicate cycle and add liquid detergent. It is better if the wash is done without the automatic spin mode. After washing, remove the covers from the washing machine and wring them out by hand. To dry, lay the covers on a flat surface and let them dry naturally (not on a battery). After the covers are dry, you can iron them.
Step 5
