You can wash your favorite car in the city car wash. It will be of high quality, quickly and efficiently. But especially the machine loves a damp cloth or sponge, detergent, which are in the hands of its owner. The question arises of how to properly wash your car yourself. But it will not be difficult even for an inexperienced car washer to do this.

Necessary

Cloth (washcloth) for wiping off dust, cloth for absorbing moisture - 2 pcs., Car detergent, glass cleaner, body polish, water

Instructions

Step 1

Find a place where you will wash your car. It is not recommended to do this in the open sun, in the shade of houses and trees, so that there are no soap streaks on the hood. The best place is a covered garage, barn. Or wash your car in the country under a canopy.

Step 2

Be sure to use detergents specifically for this procedure when washing your car. They will protect the car from corrosion, reduce the number of smudges on the body, and refresh the color of the car.

Step 3

Purchase special car wash rags from a car dealership. You will need one to remove dust, wash the car from dirt, the other (preferably from microfiber) - to absorb water and wipe the body dry. These rags do not need to be thrown away after each use. It is enough to wash and dry them before the next wash.

Step 4

Close the windows in the car and its doors. Pour cool water on the car with a hose or a hand car wash under a strong pressure, knocking down dust and dirt from it. Wait for the moment when the water drains. Apply detergent to the top and sides of the car. Add some shampoo to a bucket of water as well. Use a rag or special scrubber to wipe the body thoroughly.

Step 5

After wiping the entire car with detergent, again from the car wash or buckets, pour the car from top to bottom, knocking the lather off it. Do not forget about the wheels, directing the hose to them as well. If the dirt does not come off the wheels well, wipe them with a washcloth, while sprinkling with water. By the way, toothbrushes are good at removing dirt in hard-to-reach places on wheels.

Step 6

Set aside the water hose. Now the matter is small - wipe the entire body of the car with a dry cloth, blotting the moisture from it. With glass cleaner, wipe the windows, rear-view mirrors and windshield using a separate dry glass wiper.
