When making wheels, remember that this most important part of an all-terrain vehicle must provide it with a unique cross-country ability. ATV makers typically use cameras from agricultural trailers and ATVs for this purpose. If you can get your hands on airplane or helicopter cameras, even better. According to experts, this is the best option. Their advantage lies in the high quality of the rubber. The wall thickness in such chambers is the same regardless of location. In other cases, you can use ordinary cameras from truck wheels, coupled to each other for better stability and cross-country ability of the all-terrain vehicle.

The next stage is the manufacture of the wheel disc. After you're done with the disks, you can start attaching the cameras to the disks. For this you can use belts made from conveyor belts, which are usually used in some agricultural machines.

Another option is possible - purchase specialized wheels for all-terrain vehicles manufactured by TRECOL and the Arctictrans association. Their advantage lies in the presence of a small protector that protects the camera from possible damage. Unfortunately, they are rarely found on sale, and their price is often beyond the reach of folk craftsmen.
Step 4
When making wheels for your off-road vehicle, you must be prepared that the cameras are short-lived, and their large size and possibly lack of differential make your homebrew SUV less agile and precise. Since it is not easy to make fenders for large wheels, it is likely that you will get some of the road dirt and water. It is highly undesirable to drive with such wheels on public roads. If we compare the “homemade product” with the factory “Buran”, then only four- and six-wheel four-wheel drive models can compete with it.
