Step 1
Disconnect and remove the battery from the vehicle. Wipe it thoroughly.
Step 2
Use a wide, flat screwdriver to unscrew the caps that cover the battery "cans".
Step 3
Connect the battery terminals to the charger contacts. First, the "plus" of the battery is connected to the "plus" of the charger, and then the "minus" of the battery with the "minus" of the charger.
Step 4
Connect the charger to the mains.
Step 5
The charging current must be set to a value not exceeding 1/10 of the battery capacity. For example, if the battery capacity is 55A, then the maximum charging current should be 5.5A.
Step 6
The battery is fully charged when the electrolyte density and voltage are constant for 2-2.5 hours.
Step 7
At the end of the charging process, you must first disconnect the charger from the power supply, and then remove the contacts from the battery, starting with "minus".
