Step 1
A well-adjusted and serviceable engine starts immediately, about a second after turning the key in the ignition lock. In this case, the engine starts to work smoothly, without extraneous noise. Let the car run for a while. Wait two or three minutes and go around the car to look at the smoke from the exhaust pipe. If the car is working properly, you will either see light gray smoke, or you will not see it at all.
Step 2
If you see blue smoke, the car has problems with the piston piston and you may have to go through the engine. If you see white smoke, water has somehow entered the cylinders. This is bad as you have to change the cylinders (in the worst case) or the head block gasket. There can also be white smoke if the engine is cold, but when it warms up, it should disappear.
Step 3
While the engine is not very hot, go over and remove the radiator cap. If it is full and there are no bubbles, everything is fine. If, on the contrary, it means that the block head is broken.
Step 4
There is also a way to determine the malfunction by the soot on the candles. Carbon deposits on them should be light gray-brown with a working engine. In case of malfunction, it can be: • Similar to limestone. This means that the oil additives do not burn out.
• Carbon deposits of black color. The mixture is re-enriched.
• Carbon deposits are light and there are small metal droplets near the center electrode. The candle is overheating. This is most likely a non-native candle.
