Currently, cargo transportation is becoming more relevant. To start doing logistics on a commercial basis, you need a freight transport. Knowing the correct procedure for car registration, you will save not only your nerves and efforts, but also your time.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have purchased a domestic-made truck, the procedure for its registration is regulated by Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation of January 27, 2003 N 59 "On the procedure for registering vehicles." You need to register a car at the place of your residence indicated in your passport (or at the place of registration). If the car is new, then you have five days for this, if it is used, then the period is limited by the validity of the "Transit numbers".
Step 2
Registration of the car will be made on the basis of the TCP or an invoice certificate (if the car is used), or a sales contract (if the car is new and was bought in a car dealership). Remember that it is impossible to issue a truck without an OSAGO policy. In addition to these documents, you will also need to submit an application for registration (you can fill out directly at the traffic police or use the traffic police Internet resource), paid receipts of state duty for the issuance of new registration documents and numbers, a civil passport, as well as a TCP, an old registration coupon and vehicle license plates if they were issued.
Step 3
If you purchase a vehicle abroad, then it must go through the procedure for customs clearance of trucks imported by individuals into the territory of Russia. To do this, fill in and submit the cargo customs declaration in advance and pay customs duties. If you decide to import a car for personal use, and not for commercial purposes, then customs clearance is carried out using a special customs procedure, which carries a simplified customs clearance procedure and involves the filing of a car declaration and payment of customs duty at a rate of 30% the customs value of the truck.
Step 4
Remember that the possibility of applying a special customs procedure is subject to an individual order. In each specific case, the customs authority determines the purpose of the truck, based on the characteristics of the vehicle, the frequency of movement across the customs border and the number of trucks imported by an individual. If the customs authority approves the vehicle in a simplified manner, in the column "Customs restrictions" they will write "Issued conditionally, solely for personal purposes." Remember that this mark does not limit your rights to dispose, own and use the truck.
