Step 1
Try starting the car with the starter first. It so happens that the car engine does not start right away. This may be due to insufficient battery charging. After waiting a minute, depress the gas pedal and try to start the car with the starter again. It is important to crank the engine 5-10 rpm. Observe the polarity when connecting the batteries, start the engine. Use thick wires to connect your battery to the donor battery. Leave a pause for 5-10 minutes and start the engine with starters. As soon as the car starts up, wait 10-15 minutes, do not remove the wires from the battery terminals.
Step 3
Take the vehicle to a warm place. In a few hours, the engine and oil in the system will warm up. If possible, recharge the battery within this period of time.
Step 4
It so happens that the engine cannot start due to a diesel mismatch. Especially at the beginning of winter, motorists are often in no hurry to fill in winter diesel fuel. In this case, the old method can help - heating the fuel with boiling water. Pour boiling water over the fuel filter and tank. The diesel fuel will heat up and the engine will start.
Step 5
Buy and install a heater on your car. Such a unit is not cheap, not in all stores it can be purchased, but autonomous pre-heaters solve problems of starting in frosty weather. The heater is a small heating system that is installed in front of the fuel filter. It takes a few seconds for the heater to heat up the fuel.
Step 6
Antigels or depressants increase the resistance to freezing of fuel. Use them to start the car in cold weather. Fill, in accordance with the attached instructions, a bottle of such a substance and there will be no questions to the fuel line.
Step 7
If the car does not start in cold weather due to thickening of fuel and oil, and there is a power source nearby, a simple household hairdryer can help out. With its help it is possible to warm up the fuel and oil filters. To do this, open the hood of the car, turn on the hair dryer and blow on the fuel fine fuel filter and the high pressure fuel pump. If the fuel filter is clogged with paraffin flakes that form, only heating will help when the diesel fuel freezes.
Step 8
