Tinted windows of the car let the sun's rays into the passenger compartment less and, as a result, the objects in the passenger compartment heat up less. Also, tinted glass interferes with the view of the passenger compartment from the street, thereby objects inside the car do not attract thieves. If you want to protect yourself from prying eyes, then toning will help you with this. A tinted car looks prettier.

Necessary

  • - tinting film;
  • - rubber spatula (spatula);
  • - 1.5 liter spray bottle for water;
  • - knife (sharp blade);
  • - ruler (pattern);
  • - industrial hair dryer (to eliminate bubbles and wrinkles on curved glass);
  • - foaming agent (shampoo, liquid soap);
  • - Scotch;
  • - dry cloth.

Instructions

Step 1

The film should be selected according to your needs and in accordance with the car tinting law. Do not use cheap tinting film, it will fade or peel off quickly. Work in a dust-free environment. If necessary, wet the floor at the place of work with the film.

Step 2

Toning in a car dealership costs from 2000 rubles. On its own, it can cost you 400 rubles and several hours of time. To do this, you need desire and ingenuity.

Step 3

Dismantle and remove the glass from the vehicle. Place the glass on a wide, flat area. Pour water into a bottle and add 4-6 drops of a foaming agent. Thoroughly clean the inside of the glass from dirt and dust. If old tape has been stuck on, carefully remove it with a blade or knife.

Step 4

Find the adhesive side of the film and attach it to the glass. Cut out the outline with an indent of 2-3 cm from the required size. Secure the bottom two corners of the film with pieces of tape to the table. Carefully begin to peel off the transparent layer of the film. Spray the tint film liberally with soapy water.

Step 5

Place half of the film on the glass and completely remove the clear layer by peeling off the tape. Make sure that the film and glass are well wet at all times. Align the film against the glass.

Step 6

Use a rubber spatula to push the liquid out from under the film. Start from the center to the edge of the glass. Make sure that the film is free from blisters. Be careful. Use a dry cloth if necessary.

Step 7

Dry the glass with a hair dryer. Use a knife or razor to cut off excess film using a ruler (gauge). Install the glass back on the vehicle. It is recommended to open the glass after 24 hours.
