Step 1
Every time the radio is powered off, after the battery is disconnected or the electrical protection of the radio has failed, after it is turned on, the display shows the inscription "SAFE". At the same time, the radio tape recorder itself does not respond to pressing the buttons. Enter the correct code to continue using the machine.
Step 2
Find the code number next to the radio identification number on the first page of the user manual (under the table of contents). The place where the code number is indicated is called the radio card. Be sure to remove this radio card and store it in a safe place (not in the car!). This creates effective protection of the radio from thieves.
Step 3
Regardless of the reason for blocking the radio, after turning on the display will show the inscription "SAFE". Then press the FX and DX buttons simultaneously and keep them pressed until “1000” appears on the display. After that, release the buttons and do not press them, otherwise the inscription 1000 will be perceived as a code.
Step 4
Use the buttons to select and store radio stations 1 to 4 to enter the code number shown on the radio card. Please note: button 1 enters the first digit of the code number, button 2 - the second digit of the code number, etc. Do not use buttons 5 and 6.
Step 5
After entering the code number, press the FX and DX buttons at the same time again and hold them until “SAFE” appears on the display. Release the buttons when this message appears. After a certain period of time, the display will show the frequency of the radio station. The radio tape recorder is unlocked!
Step 6
If an incorrect code number is entered, the display will show a blinking inscription "SAFE". After a short blinking, it will light up constantly. Repeat the operation of entering the code combination. The number of times the code was entered will be shown on the display. If you enter the wrong code again, the radio will be locked for about an hour. It will be impossible to use the radio tape recorder. Wait for this time. In this case, do not turn off the device, do not remove the ignition keys.
Step 7
After that, it will be possible to re-enter the unlock code. If the code is entered incorrectly twice in a row, the radio tape recorder will again be locked for one hour, and so on.
