There are two different types of car radio blocking. The first is when you have used all three attempts to enter the code, and the system no longer perceives any keystrokes. The second is when the battery was replaced or disconnected.

Instructions
Step 1
In the first case, turn on the radio tape recorder so that it lights up. The display should show SAFEII. Leave the player turned on for 40 - 60 minutes, do not touch any buttons. After this time, SAFE will appear. Please enter the correct code.
Step 2
After disconnecting the battery in Volkswagen vehicles, the head unit can unlock itself. When turned on, it asks for a pin code, but does not give the opportunity to enter it. Wait 30 to 120 minutes. After this time, the unit will be automatically removed from the radio.
Step 3
If this does not happen, start the car. The display will first show SAFE, then LEARN. The system will signal to you that it is ready to work.
Step 4
If you need to enter the code to unlock the radio, read the instructions for it. You need to find out the keycode requested by the system. It is marked on a tear-off card - the first page of the instruction. Enter the code using buttons 1 - 2 - 3 - 4, pressing several times on each until you get the required number. After confirming correctness, hold the right arrow button for 2-3 seconds.
Step 5
To unlock the radio without knowing the code, you need to remove it from the slot to find out the serial number of the device. Remove the plugs on the sides of the radio, from the torpedo. Remove the “sound” and “volume” knobs from the panel. This can be done with pliers or with your hands. Unscrew the socket with a screwdriver. Press the antennae-springs to the radio (bending them and inserting into the narrow space of the screwdriver for fixing), which are located in the lower left and right corners. Pull the entire structure firmly towards you. The radio tape recorder will come out.
Step 6
Write down the numbers on the sticker: serial and VIN. Download and install the program for selecting the code for the radio tape recorder on your computer. Enter the recorded numbers into it, wait for the program to finish working.
