"Scooter" in English means "sliding", and its design is characterized by a high degree of mobility and maneuverability. Most often, the ignition key is used to start the engines in the scooter, but access to it is not always available.

Step 1
In the life of ordinary motorcyclists, sometimes there are situations when it is necessary to start a scooter without a key if it is lost or broken. Of course, the first thing to do in this situation is to make a new key or restore the old one. To do this, either take the scooter to a specialist, or disassemble the ignition switch yourself to the core. Moreover, wrap all the elements down to small details in paper or leave them in the case and then go to a key specialist anyway.
Step 2
If a motorcyclist finds himself in a situation where it is not possible to consult a specialist, for example, if the electric starter breaks down in the field, starting the engine without a key becomes a vital necessity. Since the scooter device is not particularly difficult, you can use the method using a screwdriver to start the engine.
Step 3
First, access the ignition switch by removing the front trim or front shield. To do this, find the screws on the top and bottom panels from the steering column and unscrew them. Then gently pry and remove the plastic panels that cover the ignition cylinder.
Step 4
Take a flat-blade screwdriver and carefully drive into the core of the ignition switch. Slowly turn the screwdriver clockwise, thereby turning the lock core until it stops. In this case, the action of a screwdriver will be similar to that of a key; sometimes it is necessary to turn to the extreme position, not reaching one step, thereby guaranteeing safety when starting the engine. Otherwise, the scooter may "start" unexpectedly for you.
Step 5
Using a screwdriver does not guarantee 100% engine start and may damage the ignition switch. To avoid such problems, take care of purchasing two ignition keys in advance.
