Step 1
Replace the cylinder-piston group with a tuning one of a larger volume. As a result, the working volume of the engine increases, and this will allow to achieve a significant increase in power at minimal cost. In addition, the consequences of incorrect running-in are leveled. Together with the replacement of the CPG, the spark plug should be changed.
Step 2
Polish the crankcase, combustion chamber and piston crown. Such a set of measures makes it possible to increase the filling of the cylinder with a fuel-air mixture, as well as to improve the combustion conditions. The increase in power will not be large, but the scooter will react much more sharply to the throttle.
Step 3
Adjust the carburetor. In order to maximize the use of the increased volume, the carburetor should be reconfigured by installing new jets and polishing the diffuser. A standard air filter provides a long service life without letting the engine breathe and must be replaced with a low resistance filter.
Step 4
Change the exhaust system. A large number of scooter sports exhaust systems are now available. The most productive way is to install a "saxophone" type resonant exhaust pipe. It is necessary to achieve the most complete coincidence of the outlet port of the CPG and the inlet of the pipe. In addition to the maximum speed increased by 10-15 km / h, the scooter will also delight the owner with a "sports" sound while driving.
Step 5
Reconfigure the transmission. After all the work done, the scooter engine will become more powerful, and the standard gearbox will no longer fully meet the requirements for it. Therefore, it is necessary to lengthen the gear ratio by 12-20%. This will dramatically increase the top speed. Installing sports weights in the variator, as well as replacing the belt, will have a smaller, but also very noticeable effect.
Step 6
Remove the restraints. All efforts can be in vain if the scooter is equipped with a speed limiter. The most common type of restriction is a switch restriction. Contact an electrician to fix the problem.
