At the recent auto show in Geneva, the European presentation of the restyled Mazda 6 took place. The car is distinguished by a striking interior and exterior design, expensive finishing materials, a wide range of options and modern technologies.
It is worth paying tribute to the Mazda stylists who were able to very intelligently approach the issue of updating the design of the popular car brand. As a result, the Mazda 6 sparkled with fresh colors.
First of all, this concerns completely new adaptive LED headlights, which not only look elegant, but also have unique properties that ensure a high level of safety. Both headlights have four independent LED units in their arsenal, each capable of operating in individual mode. For example, when an oncoming vehicle is detected, the high beam module is automatically disabled while the other LEDs continue to operate.
This algorithm not only prevents other drivers from being dazzled, but also ensures uninterrupted visibility. In addition, the system is able to independently change the shape and direction of the light flux depending on the situation on the road.
The company is constantly working on the creation of electronic systems that meet modern security requirements. Thus, the updated Mazda 6 received a blind spot monitoring system, which supplemented the existing tracking system for approaching vehicles from behind. Another driver's assistant not only carefully monitors the road markings, but also makes adjustments to the steering wheel algorithm, which prevents accidental departure from the lane.
The emergency braking system has also been improved, which automatically increases the pressure in the braking system in the event of a threat of collision in dense city traffic.
Another important innovation in the car is the engine and transmission management system, which allows you to choose between Economy and Sport mode.
The all-new dashboard features a 7-inch touchscreen for the MZD Connect infotainment system. The image from the rear view camera is transmitted to the same monitor. All operational information is displayed directly in the driver's field of view on a small head-up display above the instrument panel.
Mazda 6 was the first European model of the brand to receive an electronic parking brake, which allowed to give the center console an elegant look.
The new Mazda 6 has already appeared at dealerships, so everyone can independently evaluate its merits.
