An incorrectly adjusted clutch release drive manifests itself in two cases. In the first, it slips. This effect is most clearly observed when the accelerator pedal is pressed sharply. When the engine "roars" and the car does not move. In the second case, the clutch is leading. In such a situation, the inclusion of gears becomes very difficult.
It is necessary
- - 10 mm spanner,
- - 13 mm wrenches - 2 pcs.
Instructions
Step 1
It makes no sense to talk and convince that further operation of a car with similar malfunctions leads to more serious breakdowns.
Step 2
When the slightest signs of the indicated malfunctions of the clutch release drive appear, the car must be installed on the inspection pit, and spend 10-15 minutes of your time to adjust the free travel of the clutch pedal.
Step 3
The full scope of these adjustments provides for the installation of the necessary clearances at two points: - between the rod and the piston of the master cylinder of the hydraulic clutch release, the rod itself is located inside the passenger compartment, and it is fixed in the upper part of the clutch pedal with an eccentric bolt, there are also an adjusting screw and a lock nut (the gap is 0.1-0.5 mm); - between the rod and the piston of the clutch slave cylinder, located in the lower part of the car, and fixed to the gearbox. The adjustment of the gap, equal to 2-3 mm, is made with a threaded tip, on which the lock nut is previously loosened.
Step 4
Setting the correct clearances at the indicated points provides a free travel of the clutch pedal equal to 25-35 mm.
