Many owners of mark-shaped cars in 100 bodies prefer a snake-shaped automatic selector, but the owners of these four-wheel drive cars refuse such an idea, due to the fact that this type of selector is not technically provided for this configuration.

Instructions
Step 1
First you need to disassemble the trim around the selector. It is necessary to remove the armrest, the panels around the selector, the ashtray. Here are 4 bolts with which the selector is attached to the car body. Unscrew them. After, under the body of the car, it is necessary to disconnect the selector from the automatic transmission traction.
Step 2
Next, take a new snake selector and start spinning it up. It is necessary to turn the lower selector lever to the other side, because on an automatic machine with four-wheel drive, the shift lever itself is on the other side. Then put the selector back in chronological order.
Step 3
Then you need to enlarge the hole in the body, because on the new selector, the landing base is longer than on your current selector. In width, there is no need to widen the hole. Personally, I took ordinary SATA metal scissors for this. After that, of the four places in which the selector is attached to the body, only two on the left coincide. Screw on the left side of the selector, and on the right, mark the new attachment points and drill holes there. Next, fully secure the selector to the body.
Step 4
Now it is necessary to connect the automatic transmission rod with the lower selector lever. Since the lower lever on the new selector is different from that on the previous selector, then, accordingly, the thrust will not work, so it is necessary to lengthen it. This will require a "impeller" and a welding machine. After you have adjusted the rod under the lever of the new selector, screw them together.
Step 5
After you have installed a new selector and tested it for performance, proceed with the collection of the interior trim in chronological order.
