Step 1
Start your car. Let it warm up and idle for a while. A running engine will heat up the engine compartment, which contains the washer fluid reservoir. To do this, glue the inside with a heat-insulating layer, and also insulate the holes in front of the radiator. Preheat the tank with a stream of warm water. To do this, it is necessary to remove the washer reservoir. It is usually attached to a metal base with several screws. Locate these screws carefully and remove them. Also, two pipes are attached to the washer reservoir. The pipes are secured with iron clamps. Different types of clamps are installed on different cars. If you have disposable cable ties on your car, you need to buy new ones first. Dismantle it very carefully, as the hardened material can easily crack. Never pour boiling water over the tank at once! Start with cold water. Increase the temperature little by little until all the ice has melted. Then check the tightness of the tank. If everything is in order, then install it back. This method is suitable if the water is completely frozen.

Drive your car into a warm garage. If you do not want to bother with removing the tank and outlandish dancing with a teapot of warm water, then this method is for you. Start the car carefully. Drive to the nearest car service or warm parking lot. Leave the car there for a few hours. You can park your car in the parking lot of the shopping center and go do some shopping. During this time, the ice will completely melt. Remember to drain the water and refill the tank with an anti-freeze seal to avoid similar situations in the future.
