If it happened that the car was taken by a tow truck and sent to the impound, remember if the parking rules were violated. If the rules have been violated, make every effort to return it with minimal monetary losses. If the car was evacuated illegally, later you can also return the money spent.

Step 1
The time required for a tow truck to pick up the car does not exceed 15 minutes. Therefore, you should be aware that violation of parking rules on the central and main streets of the city can result in a tidy sum. Most often, forced evacuation takes place in the afternoon and at night. However, the duty tow trucks can pick up the car at any other time.
Step 2
During the first day, there is no charge for maintaining the car in the parking lot. After the first 24 hours, a fee of 40 rubles per hour is charged. After 72 hours, the fee increases to 80 rubles per hour.
Step 3
First of all, establish the reason for the detention. To do this, go for your rights on your own or entrust it to another person (with a power of attorney). Then, contacting the traffic police officer on duty, find the inspector who drew up the protocol and get this document from him. It often happens that the protocol is at the DPS duty officer.
Step 4
To obtain permission to receive a car from a parking lot, provide the traffic police in your area with a certificate of the absence of arrears in payment of fines, a photocopy of the protocol, a passport and a Title Deed for the car. This permit is stamped by the city traffic police. They will also find out on all bases the presence or absence of arrears in fines. Therefore, it is recommended to pay off all unpaid fines before visiting the traffic police.
Step 5
With this permission, you can pick up your car from the impound lot at any time and any day. You do not need to pay a fine to get the car. The basis is Article 27.13 of the Administrative Code and Government Decree No. 759: “the condition for obtaining permission to export a car is to eliminate the reason for the detention”, but not to pay a fine. The fine can be paid later.
Step 6
At the parking lot they are obliged to hand over the car regardless of the day of the week and time of day. In case of refusal to issue, motivating it with non-working hours, contact the nearest police department with a statement about unlawful retention of the car. If the parking lot requires payment for any services, ask for a receipt or a numbered cash receipt. These documents will help you win a case in court regarding the return of the money paid. If such documents are not issued, call the Economic Crime Department or the tax office.
